Geveke exists 150 years!
From humble beginnings to a major partner
This year Geveke celebrates its 150th anniversary. A milestone to be proud of! It began in 1874. In October of that year, Hendrik Lodewijk Geveke founded a trading company in tools and railroad and tramway equipment. In the century and a half that followed, Geveke has grown into an internationally operating company in technical, industrial (capital) goods, with a focus on industrial compressors, pumps & pump packages and service.
Many events have shaped our history. But our success over the past 150 years is due in large part to our adaptability and perseverance. Because in a world in constant envolving, we have always adapted to changing markets and needs while staying true to our core values of quality, innovative solutions and customer satisfaction.
The heart of our success
We attribute our success mainly to our employees. During these 150 years, generations of employees have dedicated themselves with knowledge and creativity. In our industry, they are the indispensable link between our customers and principals. But customers and partners are just as important in our story, because results are made together. Their trust in us has helped us grow over all these years and get to where we are today. We thank our relations for the years of cooperation.
The future
